# Unicorn Swag vs Ultimate Selfies Maker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Ultimate Selfies Maker at free with in-app purchases against Unicorn Swag's subscription. Ultimate Selfies Maker also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.5). Unicorn Swag's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Unicorn Swag sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Ultimate Selfies Maker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ultimate Selfies Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unicorn Swag has 105 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Unicorn Swag ships an update every 2 weeks, Ultimate Selfies Maker every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
