# KefiFM vs LocalTV+

The clearest difference is rating: LocalTV+ at 4.8 against KefiFM's 4.5. LocalTV+ also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (183 vs 15). KefiFM's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LocalTV+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LocalTV+ has 183 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of KefiFM's written reviews are positive against 90% of LocalTV+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KefiFM ships an update every 12 months, LocalTV+ every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
