# COSI Science vs Logan

The clearest difference is rating: Logan at 5.0 against COSI Science's 4.0. COSI Science's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Logan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: COSI Science has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

COSI Science ships an update every 2 months, Logan every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
