# Likee vs Memobook

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Memobook at none against Likee's 15. Memobook also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Likee's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (52% vs 26%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Likee sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Memobook asks for nothing beyond the download.

Memobook holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Likee has 563K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Likee's written reviews are positive against 26% of Memobook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Likee ships an update weekly, Memobook every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
