# note vs 记事本

The clearest difference is update cadence: note at every 2 months against 记事本's every 10 months. note also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 记事本 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

note ships an update every 2 months, 记事本 every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
