# Zip Printer vs FunPass

The clearest difference is rating: Zip Printer at 4.7 against FunPass's 2.2. Zip Printer also leads on ratings volume (33K vs 47) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zip Printer holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zip Printer has 33K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Zip Printer's written reviews are positive against 29% of FunPass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zip Printer ships an update fortnightly, FunPass every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
