# Diary With Password vs Planmore

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Diary With Password at 27K against Planmore's 4.9K. Diary With Password also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary With Password sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Planmore sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Diary With Password against 4.8 for Planmore. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary With Password has 27K ratings behind it against 4.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 92% and 92% positive.

Diary With Password ships an update every 2 weeks, Planmore monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
