# Diary With Password vs BiiB

The clearest difference is rating: Diary With Password at 4.7 against BiiB's 3.0. Diary With Password also leads on ratings volume (27K vs 2). BiiB's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary With Password sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. BiiB asks for nothing beyond the download.

Diary With Password holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary With Password has 27K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Diary With Password's written reviews are positive against 100% of BiiB's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Diary With Password ships an update every 2 weeks, BiiB weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
