# Crimpd vs Battle Boards

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Battle Boards at none against Crimpd's 3. Battle Boards also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Crimpd's advantage is ratings volume (101 vs 5). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crimpd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Battle Boards asks for nothing beyond the download.

Battle Boards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crimpd has 101 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
