# NoteCaddie vs ShotNotes

The clearest difference is rating: ShotNotes at 5.0 against NoteCaddie's 3.9. ShotNotes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). NoteCaddie's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteCaddie sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ShotNotes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
