# Flow Free vs Hexas Link

The clearest difference is ads: Hexas Link at none against Flow Free's shown. Hexas Link also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Flow Free's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 24 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flow Free sells 12 one-off in-app purchases and Hexas Link sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hexas Link holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flow Free has 5.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flow Free ships an update every 5 months, Hexas Link every 24 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
