# CrazyStone DeepLearning vs BearTsumego

The clearest difference is ads: BearTsumego at none against CrazyStone DeepLearning's shown. BearTsumego also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 71%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). CrazyStone DeepLearning's advantage is ratings volume (1K vs 15). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CrazyStone DeepLearning sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and BearTsumego sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrazyStone DeepLearning holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CrazyStone DeepLearning has 1K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of CrazyStone DeepLearning's written reviews are positive against 95% of BearTsumego's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CrazyStone DeepLearning ships an update every 2 months, BearTsumego monthly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
