# Noteflow vs Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Noteflow at 4.2 against Notebook's 2.9. Noteflow also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (183 vs 7). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Noteflow holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noteflow has 183 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Noteflow's written reviews are positive against 50% of Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Noteflow ships an update every 6 weeks, Notebook every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
