# MacrosFirst vs Own Touch

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Own Touch at none against MacrosFirst's 9. Own Touch also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0.0 vs 16.0). MacrosFirst's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and chart position (#87 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacrosFirst sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Own Touch asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MacrosFirst against 5.0 for Own Touch. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MacrosFirst has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MacrosFirst ships an update weekly, Own Touch every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and June 1, 2026 respectively.
