# MacrosFirst vs ProFx LLC

The clearest difference is ads: ProFx LLC at none against MacrosFirst's shown. MacrosFirst's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacrosFirst sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and ProFx LLC sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $299.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MacrosFirst against 5.0 for ProFx LLC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MacrosFirst has 22K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MacrosFirst ships an update weekly, ProFx LLC monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
