# MacrosFirst vs SayBright

The clearest difference is update cadence: MacrosFirst at weekly against SayBright's every 5 weeks. MacrosFirst also leads on ratings volume (23K vs 3) and chart position (#105 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MacrosFirst sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and SayBright sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for MacrosFirst against 5.0 for SayBright. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MacrosFirst has 23K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MacrosFirst ships an update weekly, SayBright every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
