# Sp Memos vs SNS Style Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: SNS Style Notes at fortnightly against Sp Memos's every 4 months. SNS Style Notes also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Sp Memos's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sp Memos sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and SNS Style Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SNS Style Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SNS Style Notes has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Sp Memos's written reviews are positive against 67% of SNS Style Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Sp Memos ships an update every 4 months, SNS Style Notes fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
