# Flap vs Hitty Knife

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flap at 69% against Hitty Knife's 13%. Flap also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 13.0). Hitty Knife's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (4.3K vs 22). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flap sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Hitty Knife sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hitty Knife holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hitty Knife has 4.3K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Flap's written reviews are positive against 13% of Hitty Knife's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
