# SQUIRE™ Commander vs Pristine Barbershop

SQUIRE™ Commander and Pristine Barbershop both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pristine Barbershop's written reviews are positive against 49% of SQUIRE™ Commander's. SQUIRE™ Commander's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 6) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pristine Barbershop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SQUIRE™ Commander has 4.5K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
