# SQUIRE™ Commander vs Saint Lux

The clearest difference is update cadence: SQUIRE™ Commander at every 11 days against Saint Lux's every 3 months. SQUIRE™ Commander also leads on ratings volume (4.5K vs 2) and device support. On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Saint Lux holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SQUIRE™ Commander has 4.5K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SQUIRE™ Commander ships an update every 11 days, Saint Lux every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
