# SQUIRE™ Commander vs Dapper Barbershop

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SQUIRE™ Commander at 4.6K against Dapper Barbershop's 3. Dapper Barbershop's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 11 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dapper Barbershop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SQUIRE™ Commander has 4.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SQUIRE™ Commander ships an update every 11 days, Dapper Barbershop every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
