# Progo vs E

The clearest difference is rating: E at 4.6 against Progo's 2.6. E also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Progo's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 28%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E has 1.5K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Progo's written reviews are positive against 28% of E's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Progo ships an update every 2 months, E every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
