# ESPA evopool vs IdeaShare

The clearest difference is rating: IdeaShare at 5.0 against ESPA evopool's 1.2. IdeaShare also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). ESPA evopool's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IdeaShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ESPA evopool has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ESPA evopool ships an update every 6 months, IdeaShare every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
