# SWITCH! vs MODBOX

The clearest difference is ads: SWITCH! at none against MODBOX's shown. SWITCH! also leads on review sentiment (84% vs 76%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). MODBOX's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (406 vs 15). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SWITCH! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and MODBOX sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MODBOX holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MODBOX has 406 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of SWITCH!'s written reviews are positive against 76% of MODBOX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
