# Speakly vs Forge Language

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Forge Language at none against Speakly's 17. Forge Language also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 49%) and device support (4 vs 2). Speakly's advantage is ratings volume (846 vs 37). On price and rating there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speakly sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Forge Language asks for nothing beyond the download.

Speakly holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speakly has 846 ratings behind it against 37, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Speakly's written reviews are positive against 65% of Forge Language's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
