# Speakly vs LANG

Speakly and LANG both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 72% of LANG's written reviews are positive against 49% of Speakly's. LANG also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 847). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Speakly sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and LANG sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Speakly against 4.6 for LANG. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LANG has 12K ratings behind it against 847, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Speakly's written reviews are positive against 72% of LANG's.

Speakly ships an update fortnightly, LANG weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
