# TailWind Smart vs PLACE home solutions

The clearest difference is rating: PLACE home solutions at 4.1 against TailWind Smart's 3.4. TailWind Smart's advantage is ratings volume (90 vs 9). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PLACE home solutions holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TailWind Smart has 90 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of TailWind Smart's written reviews are positive against 50% of PLACE home solutions's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TailWind Smart ships an update every 5 weeks, PLACE home solutions every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
