# Marquee TV vs Taskmaster The App

The clearest difference is price: Marquee TV at Free against Taskmaster The App's $1.99. Marquee TV also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (351 vs 15). Taskmaster The App's advantage is chart position (#148 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Marquee TV is free to download; Taskmaster The App costs $1.99 up front. Marquee TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Taskmaster The App sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marquee TV holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marquee TV has 351 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Marquee TV's written reviews are positive against 53% of Taskmaster The App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Marquee TV ships an update every 5 weeks, Taskmaster The App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
