# sPOD Bantam vs Filester

The clearest difference is update cadence: Filester at every 2 days against sPOD Bantam's every 3 months. sPOD Bantam's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. sPOD Bantam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Filester sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

sPOD Bantam ships an update every 3 months, Filester every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
