# Gate Guide vs VET Tv

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VET Tv at 9.5K against Gate Guide's 101. VET Tv also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gate Guide sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and VET Tv sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Gate Guide against 4.9 for VET Tv. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VET Tv has 9.5K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of Gate Guide's written reviews are positive against 95% of VET Tv's.

Gate Guide ships an update every 3 months, VET Tv every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
