# OneClock vs Flip Clock

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OneClock at 83% against Flip Clock's 45%. Flip Clock's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and rating (4.4 vs 3.9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OneClock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Flip Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flip Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 353 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of OneClock's written reviews are positive against 45% of Flip Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OneClock ships an update every 3 months, Flip Clock monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
