# Jew Compass vs Kosher Switch

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jew Compass at free against Kosher Switch's subscription. Jew Compass also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 1). Kosher Switch's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kosher Switch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jew Compass has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Jew Compass ships an update every 4 months, Kosher Switch daily. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
