# IFFM vs Bestcast OTT

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bestcast OTT at every 4 weeks against IFFM's every 9 months. IFFM's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IFFM ships an update every 9 months, Bestcast OTT every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
