# Flash Cards GO vs Flashcards Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Flash Cards GO at none against Flashcards Maker's shown. Flash Cards GO also leads on rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 253). Flashcards Maker's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 34%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flash Cards GO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Flashcards Maker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flash Cards GO holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.1K and 253 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Flash Cards GO's written reviews are positive against 60% of Flashcards Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flash Cards GO ships an update fortnightly, Flashcards Maker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
