# Qlango vs Fluent Fiction

The clearest difference is ads: Fluent Fiction at none against Qlango's shown. Qlango's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (74% vs 50%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Qlango sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Fluent Fiction sells 27 in-app purchases, starting at $1.79 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Qlango against 4.6 for Fluent Fiction. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Qlango has 117 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of Qlango's written reviews are positive against 50% of Fluent Fiction's.

Qlango ships an update weekly, Fluent Fiction every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
