# Instachew vs WOPET

The clearest difference is ratings volume: WOPET at 280 against Instachew's 1. WOPET also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). Instachew's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 10.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Instachew holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WOPET has 280 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Instachew's written reviews are positive against 14% of WOPET's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Instachew ships an update every 4 months, WOPET every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
