# Smart Home Manager vs FlexCue

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smart Home Manager at none against FlexCue's 1. Smart Home Manager also leads on ratings volume (490K vs 2) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). FlexCue's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlexCue sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Smart Home Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.

FlexCue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Home Manager has 490K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Smart Home Manager ships an update monthly, FlexCue every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
