# DifFriend vs Autistic Empathy

The clearest difference is update cadence: Autistic Empathy at every 2 months against DifFriend's every 5 months. DifFriend's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DifFriend ships an update every 5 months, Autistic Empathy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and July 5, 2026 respectively.
