# Midnight Pulp vs Highest Vote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Highest Vote at none against Midnight Pulp's 4. Highest Vote also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Midnight Pulp's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midnight Pulp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Highest Vote asks for nothing beyond the download.

Highest Vote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midnight Pulp has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Midnight Pulp ships an update every 3 months, Highest Vote every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and July 5, 2026 respectively.
