# Midnight Pulp vs Roundy Words

The clearest difference is monetization model: Roundy Words at free against Midnight Pulp's free with in-app purchases. Roundy Words also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.2). Midnight Pulp's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and device support. On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midnight Pulp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Roundy Words sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roundy Words holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midnight Pulp has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
