# Midnight Pulp vs Amico Controller

The clearest difference is rating: Midnight Pulp at 4.7 against Amico Controller's 3.2. Midnight Pulp also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 17). Amico Controller's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midnight Pulp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Amico Controller asks for nothing beyond the download.

Midnight Pulp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midnight Pulp has 1.8K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Midnight Pulp's written reviews are positive against 64% of Amico Controller's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
