# Midnight Pulp vs CINEVILLE

The clearest difference is monetization model: Midnight Pulp at free with in-app purchases against CINEVILLE's subscription. Midnight Pulp also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 2). CINEVILLE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Midnight Pulp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and CINEVILLE sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CINEVILLE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Midnight Pulp has 1.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
