# Elder's Digest vs Daily.Pulse

The clearest difference is update cadence: Daily.Pulse at every 4 days against Elder's Digest's every 5 months. Elder's Digest's advantage is iOS requirement (10.3 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elder's Digest ships an update every 5 months, Daily.Pulse every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
