# Optimum ERP vs Q

The clearest difference is update cadence: Q at every 2 weeks against Optimum ERP's every 16 months. Optimum ERP's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optimum ERP ships an update every 16 months, Q every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
