# IEEE vs AUST EEE Archive

The clearest difference is rating: AUST EEE Archive at 5.0 against IEEE's 4.1. AUST EEE Archive also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.6). IEEE's advantage is ratings volume (123 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AUST EEE Archive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IEEE has 123 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IEEE ships an update every 5 weeks, AUST EEE Archive every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
