# RainbowTail vs Chromata

The clearest difference is device support: RainbowTail at 3 against Chromata's 1. RainbowTail also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RainbowTail sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Chromata sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
