# Electrical Training Center App vs NEC Mastery

The clearest difference is rating: NEC Mastery at 4.8 against Electrical Training Center App's 4.0. NEC Mastery also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (172 vs 5). Electrical Training Center App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NEC Mastery sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Electrical Training Center App asks for nothing beyond the download.

NEC Mastery holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NEC Mastery has 172 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Electrical Training Center App's written reviews are positive against 80% of NEC Mastery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Electrical Training Center App ships an update every 10 months, NEC Mastery fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
