# Avero Logbook vs AccuBar

The clearest difference is rating: Avero Logbook at 4.8 against AccuBar's 4.0. Avero Logbook also leads on ratings volume (460 vs 2). AccuBar's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 8%) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Avero Logbook holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Avero Logbook has 460 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Avero Logbook's written reviews are positive against 50% of AccuBar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
