# Diary vs ndotoni

The clearest difference is ads: ndotoni at none against Diary's shown. ndotoni also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months). Diary's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ndotoni holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary has 1.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Diary ships an update every 5 months, ndotoni every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
