# TimeMachine! vs Clip Shots

The clearest difference is rating: TimeMachine! at 2.1 against Clip Shots's 1.0. TimeMachine! also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TimeMachine! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clip Shots sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimeMachine! holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TimeMachine! has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
